OUR PROGRAMS

FEEDING THE HOMELESS

When: One Saturday & One Sunday Per Month

Time: Saturdays 5pm to 7pm, Sundays NOON to 2pm

Location: We setup and serve food to the homeless community in the most highly concentrated homeless areas in Franklin County.

AFFORDABLE HOUSING

Currently there are approximately 1900 Homeless Individuals in Franklin County. Our goal is to reduce this number to 950 by the year 2026. Due to our resource partners, we provide access to temporary housing and affordable housing.

FINANCIAL LITERACY & BUDGETING

Establishing good habits and financial understanding is critical. When it comes to finances and budgeting it is important to create a strong understanding so individuals do not revert back to bad habits. We offer 30-minute workshops in conjunction with the shelters and before our Feeding the Homeless Program. Professionals will present on basic aspects of establishing a bank account, credit repair and financial budgeting.

JOB-READINESS

In conjunction with the Shelters, we will provide a job-placement assessment and establish partnerships with local companies seeking to hire permanent warehouse, industrial or restaurant employees. Additional, on-site opportunities for assessments and training will be provided at local partner Churches. Training will be provided in the form of basic job readiness skills such as computer literacy, resume writing and interviewing skills
